Our Story
HOME IS A
FEELING.
I grew up in the mountains of northern Alabama, but some of my happiest childhood memories began when we traveled south to the Gulf.
There was something about arriving at the coast—the palms, the salt air, the horizon—that made the world feel different. Freer. Slower. More present.
Long before I knew anything about interiors or design, I filled notebooks with palms and beaches. Looking back, I don't think I was drawing a place.
I was drawing a feeling.
THE THINGS

Travel has a way of following us home. A texture remembered. A color discovered. An object found somewhere unexpected.
Over time, those fragments become part of the way we see—and the way we design.
SOME THINGS ARE INHERITED.
Others are discovered along the way.
My appreciation for collected interiors began at home. My mother loved antiques, glassware, ceramics and pieces that carried a sense of history. Over time, I came to understand what she already knew—that the things we keep often become part of the story of a home.
My own eye evolved by mixing those pieces with the unexpected: something contemporary beside something old, a flea-market find beneath beautiful art, a forgotten piece of furniture given another life. Travel widened that perspective even further, introducing new materials, colors, craftsmanship and ways of living.
I have never believed beautiful design is simply about buying the most expensive things. Sometimes the piece that makes a room is the one you found, restored, repainted, reupholstered—or saw differently than anyone else did.
The best rooms aren't decorated all at once. They are collected over time.
